conventional method. It is delicately scented with Jasmine flowers, producing
a light liquor and aroma of tropical flowers. It is available in a double

Raming Tea Co., Ltd. First founded under the name of Bai Cha Tra Bhukao
or Mountain Tea by the late Mr. Prasitdh Phumxusri, in 1947 during his
trekking on Mount Chiangdao area he noticed the tree that hilltribes picking
leaves for chewing was the same as for drinking. He started his self studied
and experimented, bought some land and developed the tea trees by bushing
them and picked the newly sprung leaves after dried those leaves produced
very tasty tea. He did not keep it only for himself, he taught the villagers
the method he discovered wherever he went on the mountainous areas. The
tea for drinking produced in Thailand since then. Mr. Nit Wangviwat ,
Mr. Prasidh’s son in-law to his second daughter Penpan was joined
in the management when Mr. Prasidh had accident up the Mount Chiangdao,
the name Raming Tea Co,. Ltd. was replaced in 1967 to symbolize the Northern
Thailand. Mount Chiangdao where tea is grown is watershed of Mae Raming
( Mae Ping) river and the ram that often found living there is also the
company’s emblem. Raming Tea Co., Ltd. is presently in third generation’s
management under Mr. Jakarin Wangviwat. The company produces tea supplies
to local consumer, by its appointed distributor, CP Consumer Products
Co., Ltd. From over 2,000 Rais of tea plantation on Mount Chiangdao, the
first two leaves and the bud are plucked and processed by state of the
art machines. With our expertise in blending, each of our products is
made from a combination of leaves to achieve the real taste to make RAMING
Thai’s number one tea.
